Jurnal Raudhah Published by The Pendidikan Islam Anak Usia Dini (PIAUD), Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan (FITK), UIN Sumatera Utara Medan, Sumatera Utara, Indonesia.

Focus and Scope of this journal is about Early Childhood Islamic Education, and Education Of Raudhatul Athfal Teachers.

Peer Review Process

Jurnal Raudhah published twice a year [January and July] since 2013, is a Indonesia peer-reviewed journal, and specializes in early childhood Islamic Education and Raudhatul Athfal in Indonesia. All submitted papers are subject to double-blind review process.

The entire article will be review at least two reviewers, and the results of the review will be published after approval from the board of editors.

 

Contribution to Editorial Decisions

Peer review assists the editor in making editorial decisions and through the editorial communications with the author may also assist the author in improving the paper.

 

Promptness

Any selected referee who feels unqualified to review the research reported in a manuscript or knows that its prompt review will be impossible should notify the editor and excuse himself from the review process.

 
Confidentiality

Any manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents. They must not be shown to or discussed with others except as authorized by the editor.

 
Standards of Objectivity

Reviews should be conducted objectively. Personal criticism of the author is inappropriate. Referees should express their views clearly with supporting arguments.

 
Acknowledgement of Sources

Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors. Any statement that an observation, derivation, or argument had been previously reported should be accompanied by the relevant citation. A reviewer should also call to the editor's attention any substantial similarity or overlap between the manuscript under consideration and any other published paper of which they have personal knowledge.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

 

Publication Ethics

This is an ethics statement for Jurnal Raudhah published by the Pendidikan Islam Anak Usia Dini (PIAUD), Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan (FITK), UIN Sumatera Utara Medan, Sumatera Utara, Indonesia. This statement was adapted from the principles of the Publications Ethics Committee (COPE) and includes a code of ethics for editor in chief, editorial board members, reviewers and authors. The articles published in Jurnal Raudhah are important building blocks in early childhood education or raudhatul athfal, so they can be used as a reflection of the quality of writers and institutions. Therefore, it is important to agree on expected standards of ethical behavior for all parties involved in the act of publishing: author, reviewer, editor, publisher and community. The Editor of Raudhah Journal guarantees that all procedures are directed only to facilitate objective and intellectual treatment. The editor and reviewer of the Raudhah Journal evaluates the text without subjective, such as: interventions on race, gender, religious beliefs, ethnicity, citizenship, and certain political interests.

 

Author's Duties

  1. Have the responsibility to ensure that only new and original works are submitted.
  2. Must not reproduce works previously published in other journals.
  3. Must not submit any articles that are being reviewed or considered by other journals simultaneously.
  4. Only permitted to publish their work elsewhere after receiving an official refusal from the journal or if the request for withdrawal of their work is officially accepted by the journal.
  5. Must inform the Editor in Chief or Journal Manager about any inaccuracies in the data in their work so that corrections or retracting of the article can be made.
  6. Must make a significant and responsible contribution to any shortcomings in their work.


Review Task

  1. Must express competing interests before agreeing to review submissions.
  2. Can refuse to review any submission due to conflicts of interest or inadequate knowledge.
  3. Review all shipments objectively, fairly and professionally.
  4. Reveal the ethical errors encountered when reviewing the Editor in Chief for further action.
  5. Must ensure the authenticity of the submission and be aware of all plagiarism, redundant, and duplicate publications.
  6. Must not discuss post content without permission.
  7. Comply with the time allotted for the review process. Requests for extension to review submissions must be at the discretion of the Chief Editor.

 

Editorial Board Members's Duties 

  1. Actively contribute to the development and goodness of the journal.
  2. Acting as a journal ambassador.
  3. Continue to support and promote journals.
  4. Review the work assigned to them.

 

The Chief Editor's Duty

  1. Evaluate manuscripts fairly and solely based on their intellectual abilities.
  2. Does not disclose information about the manuscript to anyone other than people involved in the publishing process.
  3. Have the responsibility to decide when and which articles will be published.
  4. Actively seek the views of board members, reviewers and writers on how to improve the image, quality, and visibility of the journal.
  5. Give clear instructions to potential contributors to the submission process and what is expected of the author.
  6. Make sure the right reviewers are selected / identified for the review process.

Fast Track Review: 0.00 (IDR)

Article Publication: 200,000 (IDR)

If you do not have funds to pay such fees, you will have an opportunity to waive each fee. We do not want fees to prevent the publication of worthy work.

Jurnal Raudhah provides a platform that welcomes and acknowledges high quality empirical original research papers in the field of education written by researchers, academicians, professional, and practitioners from all over the world.

References to other publications must be in American Psychological Association (APA) style and carefully checked for completeness, accuracy and consistency.

The Editor may make use of Turnitin for checking the originality of submissions received. 

 

Retraction

The papers published in the Jurnal Raudhah will be consider to retract in the publication if :

  1. They have clear evidence that the findings are unreliable, either as a result of misconduct (e.g. data fabri-cation) or honest error (e.g. miscalculation or experimental error).
  2. The findings have previously been published elsewhere without proper crossreferencing, permission orjustification (i.e. cases of redundant publication)
  3. It constitutes plagiarism
  4. It reports unethical research
